Custom Timber Frame Home

Our client wanted the beauty of a timber frame house on the interior and the clean lines of a more modern home from the exterior. Energy efficiency and modern builder products were also a requirement for this large custom home. The home is a hybrid of sorts utilizing timber framing for the roof and floor system above the kitchen, and conventional wall framing for the exterior walls. The hybrid design helped manage the project budget while allowing fore more flexibility with wiring and mechanical installation.

The house includes several modern technologies including radiant heat, fire sprinkler system and spray foam insulation.

Cape Style Home

This Cape Style Home is one of our most popular designs and one we’ve built several times. The design includes a first floor master suite with walk-in closet, open kitchen / dining area, large two bedroom 2nd floor layout with shared bathroom. The large wrap around farmers porch offers great curb appeal and a beautiful outdoor space.

Ranch Style Home

This “T” ranch was designed by the Owner and built using pre-fabricated wall panels from LaValley Building Supply. Pre-fab wall panels allow us to drastically speed up the construction process while offering precise dimensional tolerances. This home features high efficiency dense packed cellulose insulation and high efficiency windows from Paradigm. Located in our Sugar Brook sub-division in Newport the owners are truly enjoying retirement in their new home.

Dr Sam’s Eye Care

Dr Sam’s Eye Care hired United Construction to build a new office for them inside one of Dartmouth Real Estates new mixed use buildings in downtown Hanover, NH. The rental space was an empty space consisting of only steel and concrete which allowed their architect, TruexCullins Architecture, to design a new space consisting of exam offices, receptionist area, lobby and retail space.

This large ranch style home is an Energy Star Rated home featuring upgraded insulation and triple pane windows. United Construction worked closely with the Owner to transform their custom design into reality. The home features vaulted ceilings, tray style ceilings, large walk-in closets and dense pack cellulose insulation.

Contemporary Two Story Home

This 3,000 sf contemporary style home was built using pre-fabricated wall panels and features 10′ high ceilings and gorgeous custom built-ins. Located in our Sugar Brook development in Newport with gorgeous views of the Sugar River. The house has a large three season porch with a roof deck off the master suite on the 2nd floor. The large front porch complements a small side entry deck and large rear deck connecting the three season porch to the kitchen and dining areas.
